As a 99.8 % oil, it consists of wax ester, and contains small amounts of vitamin E and C, citric acid, alcohol and medium-chain triglycerides (0.2 %) for stabilizing purposes.

The oil is colorless or of pale yellow color. The precious oil leaves a velvety effect on the skin without feeling greasy.
